Frequently Asked Questions

* How do I know which color will coordinate best with my wedding gown?

Colors available for each item are listed in the product description.  However, we are often asked,  “How white is your white or how dark is your ivory?”  Although we try to capture our products with as much accuracy as possible, each computer screen can differ.  Therefore, if you have any questions about specific color matching please email us BEFORE you make your purchase or you can purchase a fabric of feather swatch for $3 in our shop. This price includes shipping.  We do not accept returns or exchanges for purchases for mismatched colors.


* I would love to try your pieces on in person, are there any MOLLYGEEdesigns retailers near me?

* Do you have a store?

Not yet, but who knows what will happen in the future! If you are in the Jackson, MS area, you are more than welcome to make an appointment to come visit our studio. All of our contact information is listed under Contact.


* Can you create a piece with my custom color(s)?

We can create most of our designs with your custom colors, but not all! Please email us with your ideas prior to purchase and we can talk more about your order. Additional fees may apply depending on the change of the design.


* Do you accept custom order requests?

We do! Most simple modifications we can do free of charge. Completely new designs may require a $50 custom order fee in addition to the price of the final piece depending on the final design. Feel free to email us for availability, more information, and pricing at info@mollygeedesigns.com  


* I saw a MOLLYGEEdesigns piece on a blog, website, magazine, under Real Brides on your website. Can you recreate it?

In most cases, yes. Please describe the piece or email a photo and we would be happy to try and fulfill your request.


* I would love to use pieces of a family member's dress, veil, etc in my hair piece. Can you incorporate this?

In most cases, yes. We love working with personal items! Please email your idea or a photo and we will talk about details. Prices may vary for provided material.


* How long until my head piece, veil, or accessory order ships?

We hand-create your pieces to order and will ship in roughly 5-7 weeks after purchase. The turn around time is our best estimate and does not include shipping times. Also, because everything is handmade, there may be a slight difference from piece to piece. Once ready to ship, you will receive a shipping confirmation email to the address provided at check out. Please see shipping info under Policies for our shipping methods.


* I ordered a bridal item as well as a seasonal item, when should I expect these items to ship?

If you purchase them together, your order will ship once all items are completed. Otherwise, we suggest creating separate purchases so items can ship separately when ready.


* I need a piece quickly. Do you accept rush orders?

For most of the year we can accommodate rush orders on most “Made to Order” pieces, however, in the height of wedding season (late spring to mid summer) this may not be possible.  The cost for a rush order is an additional $30 per piece, and production time is usually half of the regular time.  Please email us before purchasing your piece so we can ensure that we have room in our schedule to meet your deadline. We will do our very best to accommodate you! You might also need to choose Express Shipping to ensure the item can be made and shipped in a timely manner. In order to receive the item by your requested date, please contact us before purchasing so that we can add the $30 fee (for a required turnaround time less than the maximum 5-7 weeks) for your formal invoice.


 * When should I order my bridal piece?

When possible, we recommend not waiting until the last minute to order your piece. All of our styles are handmade to order with care and attention to detail, so we want to take our time. We encourage you to purchase your piece at least 2-3 months before the date you will need it for. Many brides want to have their piece for a trial hair appointment or bridal portraits, so keep those dates in mind! Also, if your order is time sensitive, please put the date you would need it in the comments box at checkout. We cannot guarantee that your order will arrive by your requested date, but we will do our best to get your order out as soon as possible!


* Do you offer returns on head pieces, veils, and accessories?

All items are made to order so unfortunately, we do NOT accept any returns or exchanges. Please make sure you love your item and  read all descriptions carefully and ask all questions before purchasing. If you receive an incorrect product or if it arrives damaged, please email us:  info@mollygeedesigns.com


* I have a question about my current order. What should I do?

Please email us with the date you ordered and your name to info@mollygeedesigns.com. Please use this email address! As we are a very small studio, we may take a few days to reply.


* Lost package and shipping issues?

After an item leaves our hands, it is at the mercy of the mailing service. If you would like to purchase shipping insurance, we recommend it! Please email us prior to purchase so we can set up a PayPal invoice for shipping insurance. We will not reimburse or replace items that have been lost during shipping. Also, please ensure that you list a secure shipping address.

MOLLYGEEdesigns is not responsible for delays caused by the USPS or replacement of lost orders submitted with incorrect delivery information.


* What forms of payment do you accept?

We gladly accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, or regular account payments all through PayPal.

PayPal automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer to ours using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available)


* Do I need a PayPal account to purchase from this store?

No, you are not required to have a PayPal account to purchase from this store. Although if you already have a PayPal account you may use it. If you do not want to go through paypal, or are having problems using paypal, email info@mollygeedesigns.com all of your order information, including your credit card number and shipping and billing address(es).


*What is your privacy policy?

We will never share, sell, or rent individual personal information without your advance permission or unless ordered by a court of law. Information submitted to us is only available to employees managing this information for purposes of contacting you or sending you emails based on your request for information and to contracted service providers for purposes of providing services relating to our communications with you.
